WOBEGON Last week, we met Marty and Diana. Here is a continuation of their story. SCENE TWO CHARACTERS Young Diana, 17 Nurse Jim, 63 SETTING Hospital room. A single hospital bed sits left of center where DIANA is in labor. She is clearly in pain. The nurse tries to comfort her. DIANA Ahh! NURSE You’re alright. You’re going to be alright. DIANA It hurts. Fuck it hurts. NURSE Where is your mom? I have to call your mom. It won’t hurt so much if you have someone here with you. DIANA I don’t have a mom. Ah! Ah! NURSE It’s okay....
