I came to TV late. A few things that struck me about my newfound, incredibly delightful, time sucking activity...

I missed anything that was on television before 2010. Until last year I have never really watched a series as it happened. Here are some things from my boobtube adventures that as a new comer I find to be mind-boggling.
1.) A SHOW JUST GETS CANCELLED AND THEY LEAVE YOU HANGING, LIKE, FOREVER?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS. I cannot believe that they will just stop a show and, and that's it. I am walking around with all these open ended stories inside my brain. It's torture. I mean, can't they release a statement with some sort of wrap up so I'm not left wondering... WHO DOES THIS?!?! Life is already open ended enough. Now I have to deal with it in my escapism?!
2.) Sometimes I wish I could un-see Battlestar Galactica just so I could see it again.
3.) Shonda Rhimes. Are you a wizard?! Her TV shows are like candy or chips, I cannot get enough. I don't even know what's happening to me. I'm a scifi and mystery girl. But here I am, DVR-ing Thursday night like some kind of a junkie. It's such a delightful mix of drama and soap opera and just total WTF. I will get angry at the end of an episode of one of her shows, YOU MEAN I HAVE TO WAIT?!
What kind of crazy TV world have I entered into?! I have to say I'm sort of glad my parents didn't let me watch television growing up because now I have so much exciting stuff to catch up on! Also, I probably would never have left the house.

Great Blog as always! I agree every canceled show should come with a wrap up story! It's the least they could do! We need closure!
