Logging my 10,000 hours. I'm becoming an expert. Malcolm Gladwell would be proud. It was not for selfish purposes, I did all this Netflix binging for the greater good!

It's been a while since I've done an installment of Netflix Streaming In My Pants; what a classic series! There have been four of them thus far (hence the Part Five in the title) and I really feel like I nailed a lot of the good ones in the previous posts. If you are looking for what to watch on Netflix and don't want to wade through the never ending flow of titles please check out Netflix Streaming In My Pants Parts One, Two, Three and Four. It's hard for me to not include the previous picks again (LUTHER) as they were phenomenal choices if I do say so myself. I mean I did say so myself (ugh, I hate me too).
In previous posts I dug deep into the wonders of each show or movie but now we (we = the voices in my head that I try to drown out by watching copious amounts of Netflix) are just going list them and maybe give a sentence or two. No one will take my new insurance and I am having trouble focusing. Oh that artist's life!
I am going to assume everyone has watched Narcos. Come for the amazing acting and just can't even believe that happened story, stay for the nipples and mustaches. I would guess they have a sunglasses sponsorship.
Occupied - Netflix has picked up the first season (currently the only season so you don't have to commit days - it can be daunting to start a show that already has ten seasons in the can - you might lose weeks) of this Norwegian thriller/drama. You know the Norwegians do it right (the movie Headhunters is a must-see, also on Netlfix, also on a previous Netflix Streaming In My Pants)! Great acting. Intelligent plot line. Different. Dark.
Longmire: It's a great detective series with a Western flare and poignant commentary about Native American circumstances. Amazing landscapes. Awesome characters/acting. A&E originally was doing it and then Netflix picked up production when it was dropped. Bless them! There is nothing Katee Sackhoff does that doesn't excite me.
Buffy: Everyone (I like to visualize Gary Oldman's classic EVERYONE whenever I type out that word --> he is perfection) is always shocked that I never watched Buffy since it is right up my Whedon alley. (One must remember that I didn't enter into watching television until 2011 so I have a lot to catch up on.) SO I just started the Bufs and I am quite enjoying it.
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries: Solid Australian detective series. Great female lead. Hats.
Battle Creek: I really liked this show so of course it didn't get renewed (hello Backstrom) but the first season is up on Netflix and definitely worth a gander. View it/Do it because it's a good show or you can view it/do it because, attractive men.
The Gunman otherwise known as "Where did your shirt go Sean Penn?!" Worth a watch!
Hot Fuzz is on Netflix. How could you not?! It's a favorite.
Dope. It's so Dope. A must see coming of age movie. I would call it a comedy with some thriller aspects and social commentary. All the hallmarks of a classic!
The Interivew: Worth it for the Lord of the Rings references alone.
Odd Thomas: A DELIGHTFUL movie based on a Dean Koontz novel. Anton Yelchin and Willem Dafoe are real f'ing treats. Different. Creative. So good.
On my list of shows to watch - Jane The Virgin, this season's House of Cards (feels to real right now, I started watching it and was like PRIMARY PANIC), the second season of Daredevil and of course Jessica Jones. Normally I would have pounded through these but I am really trying to get my life together. Oh and Nurse Jackie!
