Stephen Bishop Seely makes a controversial claim very few have made before.

Watch the official music video of Wonderwall by that fly by night band, Oasis.
The video sucks. The song is amazing. I love this song. Everyone loves this song. It gets stuck in your head and you can’t stop humming it. The lead singer of Oasis, who’s name I don’t know off the top of my head, sounds like two hyenas mud wrestling with an African grey parrot in a burlap bag. True, I have never heard the sound of two hyenas mud wrestling, but I can only imagine if I did, it would sound very similar to the lead singer of Oasis (which happens to be Liam Gallagher (I googled it just now)).
I might sound egotistical, but I feel that deep within my soul, I can outsing Wonderwall (in an improved arrangement) better than Liam and his Oasis counterparts and even better than most people on the internet.
There have been many who have tried before me and yet have failed. Take this example…
Or this one…
Another failure coming right up…
To all the singers out there who attempt Wonderwall, let me share with you some expert advice.
People, the song is not a Wagner aria. This song is simple and should touch the heart. It should move an audience (emotionally not physically). Also, make sure you’re singing from your center, your Chi. Don’t forget to breathe. Do not pull your tongue to the back of your throat. Please sing as if you’re actually singing to someone who is very close to you (emotionally not physically). And the most important advice I can give is if you can’t sing then, by all means, don’t sing Wonderwall (see videos above). There are already numerous recordings, YouTube videos, and Karaoke memories that haunt each one of us. Do not add to the mix.
Although my version has not been recorded yet, I can assure you my Wonderwall will stand the test of time. With my astute musical improv skills rooted in a strong musical theatre background, I sing out these precious lyrics like no other before me. And when I decide to go public with my cover of Wonderwall, each one of you will be the first to know. Until then, you just have to take my word for it. Because when I sing, “back beat, the word is on the street/that the fire in your heart is out," I own it. It is mine and no one can take it from me. #sbsnailsit
